    2008 Bluefish promotional schedule

The Bridgeport Bluefish announced the club’s promotional schedule for the 2008 season today. This year features promotions and giveaways highlighted by our brand new daily event schedule. It all kicks off on Friday May 2nd at 7:05 P.M. against the Somerset Patriots with an Opening Day Celebration. There will be numerous festivities along with a Magnet Schedule giveaway courtesy of the Ramada Stratford and the Connecticut Post to the first 1,000 fans through Monday of Opening Weekend.

All season long the Bluefish will offer great promotions that will be taking place each day of the week. Every Monday and Tuesday will be Family Night which offers a four pack of tickets to families for only $20. Wild-Money Wednesdays gives one lucky fan each week the opportunity to walk away with a $500 cash prize. Thirsty Thursdays are back and better than ever! Every Friday will feature a promotional giveaway or special entertainer, with items ranging from a Tommy John Bobble-Arm to T-shirts and much more! Every Saturday game all season long will conclude with a spectacular Fireworks show. Kids Club Sunday at the Ballpark will be a day for the younger fans with special events taking place every week for B.B.’s Baseball Bunch members.

This season Skyy Dogs USA & Rockin’ Ray will visit the ballpark Friday, June 13th and Sunday, August 10th. The Bluefish will also hold several promotional evenings to honor the American citizens who dedicate their lives to defend and protect their country. They will be holding an Armed Forces Day complete with a fireworks show after the game. There will also be nights featuring a Memorial Day Celebration, Gun’s and Hose’s Night and an Army Night. The team will also honor one of the pioneers of the Hispanic Community in both professional baseball and humanitarianism with Roberto Clemente Night. Also this season, the Bluefish will also be turning a different color for Go Green Night, featuring free products courtesy of Greening the Cleaning.

Bridgeport will close out their season with fan appreciation day on Sunday September 21st with a game against the Long Island Ducks.
