Day 15

Phil Noel/Connecticut Post
Teamster Mia Bridgeforth of Bridgeport, a Sikorsky employee for 2 years, keeps the pickets going with a bull horn as she stands in front of the "Wall of Shame" outside Gate 3 in Stratford. The wall lists names of those who reportedly have crossed the picket line to go back to work.

I have never seen so many followers, where are the leaders?

Its not a wall of shame,
its people who have come to their senses!
The union is like the Titanic,
Sure its floating, but we all know dam well its going to sink.
Head for the life rafts before they are all gone.

Why are all you salary people crying???? We did not force you to be a salary employee. I do not see a ball and chain around you leg keeping you at Sikorsky. You must be flipped off because now you see first hand how hard our job is and you can't handle it !!!! Our fight is not with you but with the company. We have this union so we don't have to have stuff forced down our throats like it has been done to you. If you salary people were smart you too would look into starting are union, but that will never happen. Your college education will not allow it to happen. So I say to you all HAVE A NICE DAY !!!

To some people, supporting their families may be more important than the job itself.

look ma I'm famous. Now where's my scabby patty
Posted by: scabby at March 8, 2006 08:23 PM
Have a nice day? I guess that is what happens when you are forced to listen to Bon Jovi all day while walking in circles. I'll never join a union, I work for a living. I like doing my job and yours. Get over yourself, your job is not hard. Your union tells you no one can do your job... well, guess what, that's just one more thing they got wrong.
Posted by: Anonymous at March 8, 2006 08:32 PM
My brother came to his senses "Thank God" hope everyone else does soon!
The union will not help you all out in the end! If they would they would be giving you alot more then $250 a week!
God Bless the LINE CROSSER'S

Posted by: Anonymous at March 9, 2006 09:35 PM
How "UNAMERICAN" your affraid to go to work because someone tells you... you can't.
Take a stand and fight for your JOB before your job is gone for good!
Posted by: Anonymous at March 9, 2006 09:41 PM
