The health care plan that Sikorsky put on the bargaining table is different than the one in the newspaper. The salary employees have no choice but to take what was offered to them. Tell me how can we negotiate if Sikorsky does not want to go to the table in the first place? The only thing that the salary personel have is the pension plan which was never offered to the hourly employees and the saving plan which salary employees can put more money in it. Sikorsky bring replacement there will be big problem, you think that the rally we had was bad, watch what can happen. Remember we want to negotiate but Sikorsky is refusing to negotiate.I don't know who is handling Sikorsky's negotiations but he is not from this country. A hard liner will not repair the problem but someone with skilled communication. Talking of good communication, how about the comment of Beth Amatto a personal vice president, she was not thinking too clear when she made her comments about the difference of opinions in the contract dispute. Degrees like suits do not make the man. The way Sikorsky is handling this situation makes you wonder who is behind this? Because it makes no senses, alse stop pointing to Teamsters for your lack of tack, and stop lying to the newspapers about your good faith,we have not once seen your good faith, the only things that you have shown was stronging harm of your employees that would love seing Sikorsky showing good faith, and making an effort to negotiate. I believe that the company could offer other thing that could help us to go in the right direction, TRY IT. If your negotiating team does not know or want to negotiate than change the team. We all know that UTC own51% of the shares at Cigna no wonder we cannot have a different healthcare plan. I always thought that you cannot monypolyse a company, exemple Sikorsky cannot use PWA engine's because it is the same corporation. Or is the problem global? Is there company's out there paying Sikorsky to keep our work force out, because the other company are making a stand against their workers on healthcare provisions? I was always told if it smell like fish it is fish, I could not use the right word because it would be considered offensive but you got the point. And last but not least ALL YOU SCABS THAT HAVE CROSS, THE COMPANY IS NOT LOOKING AT YOU AS HERO BUT AS SPINELESS. We all have bills and obligations, but you do not stand now, watch the next contract it will not get better, and you have not made a difference. Just look around do you see any of those guys that make our helicopters days in and out? NO! WELL YOU ARE RIGHT. The scabs with time in the company crossed and cannot tell me that they had a good reason, the kids that crossed were misinformed and that is too bad, you are still scabs and you are stuck.Rember it is easier to make scrap than good parts even with the scabs replacement workers. I hope that Sikorsky come to their senses and find in their heart and better judgement to try to negotiate MAKE AN OFFER. Being stubborn is good but it can destroy a good company and kill relation. once people know that you destroy people's life, failure is inevitable.

Hi to all SIK workers, on strike or working. I do not work at SIK and never have. I know someone who does. I have only one question to SIK and other big companies. Why is it you cut wages, salaries, and benifits of the workers, who do not make that much money and then give the big bosses big fat bonus checks? Who in the world needs a million or better cash bonus? I did get laid off from Electric Boat 14 years ago, and the big boss there got a huge bonus at the same time. I lost my place to live and had to pick cans to get money for gas for the car, to look for a new job. The big boss got to keep living very well and did not care that a lot of workers were suffering and unable to help themselves. Why are you big bosses so uncaring and selfish? Why not give back some of your enormous bonus money to the workers and help them? After all, you would not be a big boss if you did not have all of us working under you.

To ALL the Strikers: For many of you this is a New experience and, for some like myself I,ve done it many times "over" at the "other' end of Town. One thing you can bank on is this. There will be many sad faces when OUTSOURCING is the main object of UTC. Their priorities are with the Shareholders. If any of you now enjoy the benifit of being a shareholder, you should vote "NO" when it comes to the boards raises and, stock options. You should also know that Rosa Delauro voted to close Allied Sig nal in Stratford, and also voted no for Pratt when it was giong to contract for more F-15 engines.

I cant complain about not being in this picture. Since I am not working inside, I have to find someone else to sue. I never thought I would have to look elsewhere for workers comp.
