    DAY 29

On day #29 of the teamsters strike at Sikorsky, Paul Gerald of Bridgeport, a 20 year Sikorsky employee manages to smile as he warms himself at the fire outside Sikorsky Gate #2 in Stratford

Talk about foreshadowing--this loser is laughing while Rome (a.k.a. his Sikorsky job) burns.

Yikes, he set himself on fire!

This is what happens after farting too close to the barrel.

To all of you 'old timers'; stop your crying about the number of years you have at Sikorsky. Maybe you all need a little taste of what it is like to be with out employment and try and raise a family of 5. A family member of mine experienced just that and when they got the job at Sikorsky, they were so happy to be able to support their family. Now it is being taken away again because of a battle for 31 cents. Everyone is paying the high premiums and are not complaining. Get back to work before you really have something to cry about because you won't have a job to come back to.

attitudes like JOHNS above,is the reason why we are paying high prescription drug prices, health care costs, high gas prices and on and on.DON'T CHALLENGE just pay and the rich get richer......our ct.political delegation dodd, liberman and rosa delaura won't address high medical costs..............EVER WONDER WHY..$$$$$$$$$$$

I think this loser just threw his termination letter in the barrel, he might be a decent cook at some truck stop

thoughts of impending doom; doom for all the workers continuing to strike

make sure to go to union hall @ 12 & 4 today so Rocco can blow more smoke up your ass!!!!!!

Posted by: Anonymous at March 23, 2006 06:00 AM

Hey 8:54..... fight the health care insurance providers, NOT your company that's kept your oldtimers gainfully employed for 20+ years.... UTC raised their rates because the providers raised theirs. Everyone's suffering. Union employees are getting the shaft just as the salaried folks are. If you don't like it, go somewhere else and forget your pension. Most companies don't even offer pensions anymore, so consider yourself lucky ONCE AGAIN. This isn't the good ol'days anymore.

Milking the system is coming to a close.. SIK needs to stand their ground... jobs can be filled over seas for 1/4 of the cost and without these BS work claims.
If you want to continue to be employed .. go back to work... or screw it stay home.. SIK will find replacements.. people that appreciate the benefits... UTC's benefits are much greater than 90% of other corportations.. so quit complaining and either go back to work or find another job at KFC
