Camp, Day 6: One Day More

So, are guys making decisions a little more difficult?

"We told them after one period, we're going to play Islander hockey. We want to play fast. We want to play the Islanders' system. If you can't play it here, you can't play it on Long Island for Scott Gordon."

"Whether they (are here) to start or not, other guys may play themselves out of a spot."

In reference to a Walsh question, Sixsmith, Gleed, Sertich were the names that came out as guys who had been doing the job. This night, Capuano saw more discipline in the systems and a little more urgency from his team, which made the difference in his eyes.

The problem with the roster question is what happens with the Islanders; how many are healthy, how many are ready to come back. Then the Sound Tigers, how many are healthy, how many are ready. We should get a better idea tomorrow.

    Lowell 2 1 0--3
    Bridgeport 1 3 0--4

Penalties -- Mills, Low (tripping), 6:36; Kell, Low (interference), 9:01; Swift, Low, major (fighting), 11:49; J.Rechlicz, Bpt, misconduct, 11:49; M.Rechlicz, Bpt, major (fighting), 11:49; Fuller, Low (roughing), 13:49; Nikiforov, Bpt (hooking), 13:49.

    LINEUPS

    D: Andrew MacDonald (C)-Jordan Hart (A)
    Andy Sertich (A)-Jon Gleed
    Reagan Leslie-Russ Moyer
    G: Peter Mannino
    Nathan Lawson

    LOWELL
    F: Jon DiSalvatore (A)-Benoit Mondou-Brad Snetsinger
    Eric Castonguay-Michael Swift-Nicklas Bergfors (A)

    D: Mark Fraser (A)-Ryan Gunderson
    Olivier Magnan-Matt Cohen

Mannino should get the start in Cromwell and probably goes at least two periods. Capuano had a tentative lineup but was holding off in case the big club made any moves. We probably won't have anything until well after the game, because there's no place to work there. (I'm lucky if I can see, usually.)

Michael Sharp has Joe Rullier going to Binghamton.

And hey, check out what happened at The Internet Hockey Database. Kinda threw me.
