    You guys wanted news...

The options on the Sound Tigers' coaching staff were not picked up this morning.

    More in the morning.

    really? Bags too?

I think Bags has an inside spot at the Yale job. That's why they didn't pick up his contract.

Posted by: paul at June 1, 2006 08:36 PM

I don't think that is the reason. The Yale job was already filled. This is not good news as Dave and staff did one heck of a job with all the call-ups and injuries.

    All three.

And yes, Baseggio decided against a run at the Yale job.

Check the story tomorrow for a small glimmer of hope. It's small. But it's hope.

Who do you think will replace them?

Posted by: paul at June 2, 2006 07:18 AM

According to Mike's article this morning, the GM candidates expressed a desire of naming their own coaching staff and there is always the chance that the new GM can bring back Bags and staff. Too bad Stirling is no longer available, would have loved to see him back with the Sound Tigers. I'm holding on to hope that the new GM brings back Bags and staff.

Doubt it. I think that for the Isles to can the entire staff means that the candidates have their own plans in mind.

well the whole organization will start new. I'm sure we will have someone good. I'm justed pissed that bags could have maybe taken the yale job.
