    Monday roundup

Ok, I realize I've been lax with my daily roundup. Actually "lax" is not the word. It's more like knowingly negligent. I'm sorry.
So, in apology, I offer some observations on Monday night's TV offerings:

Prison Break: YESSSSSSS! Finally, another Michael/Sarah makeout. Woo-hoo! Of course, the circumstances were very "Prison Break" -- a dalliance in the lady's room following Sarah's attempted murder of agent Kellerman. Not traditionally romantic, but I guess when your on the run from the law and shady killers, there isn't really a good time to make a move.
Heroes: Sooooo....are we ever going to actually see Linderman? I mean, I'm starting to get a little antsy. I was so appreciative that "Heroes" showed us Sylar so soon. I guess getting some insight into Linderman is too much to ask for. Also, was there any doubt from the previews that Nathan is Claire's dad? I mean, they showed a guy in fancy clothes. Only one person on the show dresses like that. Although, secretly, I kind of hoped it was Linderman.
Anyway, it was a decent episode. With all apologies to Hiro, I think the Invisible Man is starting to overtake him as my favorite character. Even if he does kind of remind me of that guy who teaches Patrick Swayze how to kick a soda can in "Ghost."
24: Ok, note to "24" -- if you were going to make Jack's dad secretly evil, why did you cast James Cromwell in the role? As soon as I saw him, I could tell he was bad. Why? Because James Cromwell hasn't played a good guy since "Babe." I also kind of figured that Morris would be the terrorists' engineer, but it's still a decent twist. "24" has a bad habit of introducing new characters, then giving them nothing interesting to do. I'm glad to see they're going somewhere with Morris. Although can we get rid of the President's sister and her boyfriend? That plotline is really just dragging the show down. Again, if you're going to introduce new characters, give them something interesting to do! Otherwise, you might as well bring back Kim and the cougar.
