The best "Simpsons" in months
Must say, tonight's "24" parody on "The Simpsons" represented some of the show's best writing in a long, long time. The episode was a gleeful (but affectionate) parody of all the things that even hardcore Jack-aholics can't stand about "24." The peasoup thick melodrama. The ridiculous dialogue. And, of course, those split screens. How hilarious were the split screens on "The Simpsons"? Extra points for getting "24" stars Kiefer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub to lend their voices to the ep.
Kudos.
P.S. As for the other shows on tonight (spoiler alert) what was with the suicide mania? Both A.J. on "The Sopranos" and Edie on "Desperate Housewives" tried to do themselves in! And Edie might have succeeded. Quel bummer.
