An observation
I must say, the musical number between Tony Bennett and Christina Aguilera wasn't bad, but musical numbers aren't usually something I associate with the Emmys. They're more of an Oscars' thing. Or a Grammys thing. Or a Tonys thing. Or an anything-but-the-Emmys thing. But, while it was out of place, at least Christina has spared herself from a Britney-at-the-VMAS-style embarrassment. She looked good and performed well -- even if she and Bennett seemed a little out of sync. Honestly, didn't it kind of seem like they were in two different numbers?
