Appealing issues
Nate Miles has filed an appeal with UConn, attempting to reverse a hearing officer's decision to expel him from the school. The 6-foot-7 swingman was expelled last Thursday.
Miles' advisor and former coach, Sean Patterson, said the appeal was delivered in time to meet the five-business day deadline.
"It's been filed," Patterson said Friday. "We've just done what's required of us, to make sure the appeal is done in a timely fashion."
Miles was arrested Sept. 22 on charges he violated a restraining order. He is due back in court Nov. 25.
