    Charges against Miles dropped (nolled)

Nate Miles, the former UConn basketball player who never actually saw action for the Huskies but who remains a memorable student-athlete, will not be prosecuted for violating a restraining order.

That charge, along with three counts of disorderly conduct, were nolled (not prosecuted or dropped) by the state. Miles' attorney Rob Britt appeared in Rockville Superior Court Tuesday morning though Miles did not.

Because of Miles' compliance with the court's order to undergo counseling, the case was not prosecuted.
