    Donald Brown a Colt

Is it me or did NFL commissioner Roger Goodell have a little questionable inflection when he announced Donald Brown's selection Saturday?

It was almost like "the Indianapolis Colts select: Donald Brown, running back....Connecticut?"

Yes, you can believe it Mr. Commish. UConn has made it to the first round of the NFL Draft. There are probably plenty more people who share your disbelief, though.

As for his selection, Brown was obviously pleased.

"It still hasn't hit me yet," he said Saturday night. "I'm still pinching myself to see if it's real."

As for the Colts, Brown had no idea they were interested.

"At the combine I met with their sports psychologist and that's the last I heard from them," Brown said.
